Charity Car Show August 29, 2026Here are some photos of our first annual charity car show.This is a fundraiser for the 2 Animal Rescues that Rob Buckman transports dogs and cats from shelters to the rescues (Foster Pet Outreach and Pet Pack Rescue Inititive). It was a great success with 20 Vipers and a total of 110 cars, trucks and motoorcycles.Thank you to all of our Viper owmners that brought their cars to help raise funds to help innocent animals. Pekin Avanti's Dome Autocross

Our first autocross of the season was July 12th at the Pekin Avanti's Dome in Pekin, Illinois.It turned out to be a great day with nice temperatures. We had 15 drivers, with a drivers meeting at 9:00 and the track going hot at 9:30. We ran until lunchtime when we were treated to lunch by our VOA region. After lunch we started back up with a total of 24 runs. Great day of Vipers and viper family.

Winterfest 2026 Valentines Day February 14th

On Saturday, February 14th, around 90 members and guests of VOA Illinois gathered at the Marriott Hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois for the highly anticipated 2026 Winterfest celebration. This year marked the 15th consecutive Winterfest hosted at this venue, and the Valentine's Day-themed event was a true testament to the enduring spirit of the Viper community. Fall Cruise September 6th & 7th to Wisconsin

Enjoy some photos from our fall cruise to Wisconsin. Some of us met in Libertyville to cruise together to our first stop which was a pastry shop named O&H Danish/Kringle Bakery. Then off to the Bobblehead museum in Milwaukee. Very interesting over 10,000 bobbleheads of everyone you can imagine. From the bobblehead we went to the Harley Davidson museum. Annual VOA of IL Picnic Sunday August 17, 2025

Our annual club picnic was a big success again with around 60 folks attending. The food as always was great and the fellowship with fellow members is something we always enjoy. This year we added a new twist with a remote control 28 foot racetrack. It turned out to be a great time and definitely a highlight of the picnic. Liberty Auto August 9th in Libertyville ,IL

Here are a few photos from our Car Show at one of newest club sponsors Liberty Auto in Libertyville, IL. We really appreciated them opening up their dealership for our event. They gave us a tour of their facility beautiful place that works on Vipers too. We had a nice turnout of 24 Vipers. A few photos from the Japanese Gardens in Rockford, IL

Our first road course of the season turned out to be a beautiful day at Autobahn in Joliet. Folks started arriving about 7:30 to unload trailers and for a drivers meeting at 8:15. The track went hot at 8:30. Everyone had the opportunity to run 5 or 6 30 minute sessions. We had a little lighter Viper crowd this time with about 15 drivers . Lunch was about 11:30 with the sessions resuming after lunch. We wrapped up about 3:30 with trophies being awarded at 4:00. A great time with great friends.
