The first autocross of the year is in the books. It started off with folks arriving unloading trailers and getting ready for a day of fun and sun. Drivers meeting was a little late at 9:00 with the track going hot about 9:15. The track was longer than usual utilizing the whole parking lot and going from the usual about 40 second run to a 60 second run. It is hard to imagine how much more work it is driving a track that is one third longer than normal  We had 21 drivers for the day with 7 runs the first session followed by another 7 the second session with lunch provided by the club in the middle of the second set and a final session of 5 runs ending the day about 3:00. We packed up all the equipment, retrieved the cones and awarded all the trophies for the day. Everyone headed home after such a great day ready for the next event.
